One day off requires many weeks of planning! What working Mom doesn’t know that? The planning for this one day in April begins well before the ice begins to thaw. Chamber members are welcome to join this committee that organizes a special day for the women who work in Charles County.
The highly anticipated event offers ladies a well-earned day of relaxation, entertainment, and most importantly, an opportunity to learn how to deal with the challenges they experience on the job and in their personal lives. Business exhibits, mini-seminars and a fashion show make this a professional training experience as well as an opportunity for reassessment as we observe the progress made by contemporary women.
In order to reward our unsung heroines, one attendee is chosen to be
the "Working Woman of the Year." Each employer is asked to tell us about
those special employees that they feel deserve to be “Working Woman of
the Year”.
